
stephen McGinn
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Stephen began his soccer journey playing academy soccer before being released by Scottish Premier League team Dunfermline FC at age 17. Undeterred, he set his sights on the U.S., earning a soccer scholarship.
Stephen first attended Young Harris College, GA, a top D2 program, where he played under the guidance of now professional coach Mark McKeever and now D1 head coach Ciaran Traquair. He later transferred to Webber International University in Central Florida, where he competed in the NAIA Sun Conference, earning numerous accolades including All-Conference and All-American honors.
After his playing career, Stephen transitioned into coaching, spending two seasons as Assistant Coach and Head of Recruitment at Webber. Upon moving to Orlando, he took on a coaching role at Lake Highland Preparatory School and co-founded the youth club FC Highland, serving as Director of Coaching, where he focused on developing young talent and helping players secure college recruitment.
In addition to his coaching career, Stephen played professionally with Orlando SeaWolves, Florida Tropics, and Central Florida Crusaders.
Stephen is married to his wife Selma and is the proud father of two children, Eamonn and Isla.
